It has become a cliche that the millennial generation are obsessed with avocado, but when it comes to the colour we are happily encouraging it, as our Avocado Bathroom on Apartment Therapy is showcasing! The Sunday Times have just featured an apartment we recently completed as their Home of the Week. We gained planning permission and listed building consent to completely gut and refurbish the apartment to an exquisite standard creating a 5 bedroom property now on sale for £15 million.
We worked with contractor Icon 1992 and structural engineers Fluid Structures to take out all the partitions and re-plan the entire flat, creating a central core that rose up through four storeys with a a sweeping curved stair.
Boundary Space recently visited the Bisca workshop to observe and learn about their manufacturing process, meet the craftsmen and see a recent staircase design take shape.
We understand the value of forming close working relationships with artisan suppliers to produce the most coherent and best realised designs.
To this end we take a hands-on approach, involving ourselves at every stage: meeting and communicating regularly with suppliers throughout manufacture, visiting the workshop and taking a real interest in the process.
We believe that this always shines through in the end result.

3D printing has huge potential in the design world and we are pleased to have acquired a 3D printer at the Boundary Space studio, enabling us to harness this new technology in-house and produce sophisticated mock-ups and 3D representations.
